Story:

This furniture piece started with a single board cut straight from the trunk of the tree. It’s organic shape and natural presence still carry the story of the place it once belonged to.

I combined this solid wood with reclaimed panels I’ve collected in my workshop over the years — materials I hold onto carefully, waiting for the right moment to give them a new purpose. I clean them up, rework them, add color, and let them find their place alongside the honesty of the wood. I love that contrast: the quiet depth of a living tree and the playful potential of reused materials.

Bringing those worlds together is where my work comes alive. It’s a way of honoring what nature offers us, while also valuing the forgotten materials that still have so much to give.

My pieces may be unconventional at times, but they are created with intention, curiosity, and a sense of connection — to the landscape around me, to the stories held in the wood, and to the surprising beauty that emerges when old materials meet new ideas.
